A BIT ABOUT ME

I have had a passion for hair since I was a little girl, I have always loved being creative and so training as a hairdresser was a fantastic choice of career. After working as a level 3 hairdresser, I decided that my passions had moved from colouring to styling and hair ups. So, I decided to specialise in Bridal and Special Occasion hair styling. I worked for 5 years assisting Grace Benson, Make Up Artist, on lots of weddings. I learnt a lot whilst working for Grace, its very different to working in a salon. I decided in 2017, that I wanted to work for myself as well as continuing to assist Grace. I have loved every minute. When you are passionate about your work its not really work at all. I love my job and feel very privileged to be part of my brides special day.

WHAT I DO

I provide trials for each one of my brides, and any member of the bridal party that requires one. I don’t have time limits so we can try out as many styles as you want. This is to make sure you are 100% happy & confident for the morning of the big day. We sort out the timings and every detail of the morning of the big day.

On the morning of your big day it’s self I, and if needed my assistants, travel to where-ever you and your bridal party are getting ready. I make sure everything runs as stress free & smoothly as possible for all of you. The morning of the wedding can be a stressful time for a lot of brides, full of nerves and excitement. I am a very cheerful, calm & positive person who loves a giggle - I find most people respond well to a bit of humour. I love working with all age groups from blowdrys for Granny to styling the toddler flower girls and everyone in between.

Over the years working in this industry I have found that the most important thing is time. I make sure that I have planned plenty of time for each person and so that no one feels rushed or stressed. make sure everyone feels special and looked after. I ensure that we have enough time to comfortably get everyone looking fabulous. I stay until YOU are happy for me to leave, normally after fitting the veil - if required.
